Earn 6 hours of General Illinois CE credit and 1 hour of Ethics credit

This course helps make you an indispensable team player in any insurance agency. As you work with colleagues and customers, you will do so with enhanced self-assurance and a greater understanding of the dynamics within insurance organizations. Also, understanding how agencies operate is essential training for both insurance agency and company personnel.

Topics Include: Legal & Ethical Requirements, The Insurance Agency, The Insurance Industry and Marketplace, Communication, Agency Workflow, Account Management, Errors & Omissions

**Exam is NOT required for CE credit.**

The virtual classes will count for both state CE and designation credit. The exam requirements remain the same and the exam is only required for those pursuing a new designation.
For those taking the exam, you will do so online. The exam window will be open beginning at 4:15 p.m. the day of the class through Thursday at 11:59 p.m. CT the week following the class. Specific instructions on the exam including proctoring of the exam, and completion information will be distributed during the course.

Don Solomon began his insurance career insurance in 1986 by working in the family agency during college breaks. After receiving a degree in Engineering from Iowa State University, he joined the agency, Martini, Miller & Schloss, Inc. in Northbrook, IL.

He has worked in personal and commercial insurance, agency automation, bookkeeping, and management. He is also an educator for Big I Illinois instructing classes in personal lines, agency operations, errors and omissions, and ethics.
